8.1.Information we collect about you
“Personal Information” is information that identifies you as an individual or a company such as:
- your name/company name;
- date of birth;
- email address;
- educational background;
- employment history;
We use technologies to collect information about user activities in depersonalized form in order to improve our services, user experience and prevent application bugs.
8.2. With whom we share your Personal Information
Our purpose is to help you search for and get a job/candidate, so we share a part of the information from your profile with the other users of Workee.
Employers will be able to view information a Candidate has provided to us directly, such as photo, the first and last name, age, personal description, educational background and employment history. When Candidates apply for a job position, the information is used by Employers in connection with considering and acting upon applications.
Candidates will be able to view information from Employers profile such as a company name, logo, job description, representative, geolocation and proposed salary.
Employers and Candidates don’t have an access to email addresses and geolocation of each other and can communicate only via Workee messenger.
We don’t share your Personal Information with third parties such as recruiters and other intermediaries and agents and other business partners.
Workee may process your data to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations eg preventing, investigating and detecting crime, fraud or anti-social behaviour and prosecuting offenders, including working with law enforcement agencies.
By using the App, you are authorizing us share your Personal information with other users of Workee.
8.3. How we use the information we collect
We use Personal Information to do some or all of the following:
- help you find the most suitable candidates/jobs;
- communicate with you as part of our business;
- send you important information regarding changes to our policies, other terms and conditions, the Workee Website and App and other administrative information;
Using Workee, you consent to:
- process your personal as permitted by applicable privacy laws
- share your personal data (except email & geo-location) for the purpose of the service goal
8.4. How you can access and correct your information
If you have a profile at Workee, you have the ability to review and update your personal information within the Service by opening your account and going to settings. Any corrections made to personal information will be promptly accepted.
You can delete your account at any time – in this case your Personal Information will be removed from our database.
You can get a copy of your personal data. To do that, please contact us.
8.5. How we protect your personal information
We take security measures to help safeguard your personal information from unauthorized access and disclosure.
Our security measures include:
- review our information collection, storage and processing practices, including physical security measures;
- restrict access to personal access to personal information to Workee employees and contractors who need to know that information in order to process it for us and who are subject to contractual confidentiality and processing obligations. They may be disciplined or their contract terminated if they fail to meet these obligations; and internal policies setting out our data security approach and training for employees.
8.6. How long we store your personal data
We store your personal data while you use the service. If you don’t use the service for 12 month, your account and personal data will be deleted from all our databases.
